General terms & conditions

  • Check in is possible from 3.00 pm on the day of your arrival. You should check out before 12.00 pm on the day of your departure. It may be possible for you to keep your Suite for a late departure, but only upon request. You will be charged up to 50% of the price of your Suite for check out by 7.00 pm and 100% after 7.00 pm.

     

    Children over 12 years old are considered as adults.

     

    Article 1: Booking & Confirmation

     

    Prices are per night, per Suite and with buffet breakfast per person. For any Suite bookings made via the website www.capest.com, phone or fax, a confirmation email will be sent to you by the Booking Department. This implies your acceptance of the General terms and conditions, and the booking cannot be challenged except through application of Article 4.

     

    Article 2: Credit card authorization

     

    We will request a credit card authorization by email for the payment of a deposit of 50%*of the total cost of your stay (*100% of the total cost of your stay will be requested during High Season). This deposit is deducted from your account at the end of your stay. Any communication of your credit card details to the Cap Est Lagoon Resort and Spa Booking Department will confirm your agreement and authorisation for payment of the debits due in accordance with the General terms & conditions. For security purposes, you must present the credit card used for the booking upon arrival at the hotel.

     

    Article 3: Deposit

     

    Booking is only guaranteed once the deposit has been paid. The deposit should be paid by credit card (Visa / Mastercard / American Express), during booking, by immediate remote debit.

     

    Article 4: Cancellation

     

    Any cancellation must be confirmed to us in writing, by e-mail or fax.

    We remind you that, in the event of cancellation or shortened stay, you can benefit from insurance cover which can provide reimbursement on a case by case basis. To be reimbursed, you must notify your bank within 72 hours of the trigger event.

     

    Low season

    from 16 August to 25 October 2015

     

    • For cancellations made between 30 to 21 days prior to arrival = 20% of full stay

    • For cancellations made between 20 to 14 days prior to arrival = 40% of full stay

    • For cancellations made between 13 to 7 days prior to arrival = 55% of full stay

    • For cancellations made less than 7 days prior to arrival = 80% of full stay

    • In the event of a no-show or cancellation of all or part of the booking = the deposit

    is not refundable.

     

    Season

    from 04 January 2015 to 21 March 2015

     

    • For cancellations made between 30 to 21 days prior to arrival = 20% of full stay

    • For cancellations made between 13 to 7 days prior to arrival = 55% of full stay

    Mid-season

    from 01 November 2014 to 19 December 2014

    from 22 March 2015 to 15 August 2015

    from 26 October 2015 to 19 December 2015

    Article 5: No Show

     

    A “No Show” on the planned arrival date will result in the automatic cancellation of the entire booking. The booked stay will be charged in full.

     

    Article 6: Modification of booking or shortened stay

     

    Bookings may be modified free of charge by notifying the Booking Department within 15 days of the planned arrival date. We cannot guarantee the availability of Suites; consequently, in the event that this modification is not possible, you will be required to accept the original booking or will be subjected to the conditions of cancellation set out in Article 4.

     

    In the event of a shortened stay, the original stay booked will be charged in full.
